If the Pope or other religious leader becomes senile and says there is no god will you stop believing?

Some people ask if Dawkins etc converts to a religion(usually the religion the questioner was brought up to believe in)will atheists start believing?,I personally know of a Catholic Nun who became ill with an alzeimers type illness and started doing all sorts of things such as exposing herself etc.I know it was the effects of age and illness so I didn't take this as proof that there is no god.
